Parity and other Thoughts

The loss stinks and the many reasons for it have been mentioned. Taking off my P&G glasses it looks like the SEC is evolving. Bama has had one tough opponent on the road, so I think the jury is still out on them. They could still be the class of the conference for sure.
But the rest of the league from Mizzou to Vandy in the East and LSU to Ole Miss in the West is now very close. Great parity exists.

Kentucky and Arkansas are disasters, but clearly the rest are all competitive with one another.

The loss is a setback, and our fan base takes such loses very hard. But I think it should be stated that there is still a lot of football left, great challenges ahead, and plenty of opportunity to put this one behind, if the team and it's leaders respond.

I will be in Tiger Stadium next weekend, driving in from GA to take my 7 year old daughter to her first game. I will be looking for a team rededicated to make a stretch run. Fans can do whatever they want, but it's not time for either the fan base or the players to pack it in. It's time to respond like a Tiger!
