FSU will likely finish the season having played five ranked teams:

Clemson, Miami, Florida, Maryland, and VTech.

Two top ten wins versus Clemson and Miami keep them above Oregon (imo).

I think everyone outside of the state of Alabama will be pulling for LSU that weekend. You're the only team left on their schedule that can stop them from getting to the title game.

FSU has a target on their backs. The UM/UF games will be the toughest of the year for us. Both teams are going to give us a 100%.

The scary thing is that Jameis wouldn't want it any other way.

I agree, but this happens every year. A team gains a ton of momentum and then drops a game versus a team no one expected.

There were also two big red flags for me last one. Our red zone offense and the holding calls. We're far from being the best team in the nation, imo.

My projected BCS standings: 1 Bama, 2 Oregon, 3 FSU, 4 OSU, 5 Mizzou, 6 Stanford, 7 Baylor

Based on FSU not jumping Oregon in the coaches poll?

Coaches are static in their rankings so that probably holds true.

AP has always been more fluid. Wouldn't be surprised to see FSU @ #2 in the AP.

well since the AP poll is no longer part of the BCS formula I guess their fluidity is worthless.

Jerry Palm says FSU jumps Oregon, but it is extremely, extremely close.

Never said they were. It's called comparison.

You respond to a BCS standings projection with a comment about the AP and my reading comprehension is suffering? Okjeff.jpg.

Those will be the two toughest remaining for FSU, but they weren't the two toughest on your schedule. Despite FSU's manhandling of Clemson last night, they were the best team on your schedule. UM may be undefeated, but they haven't looked good in doing so. And while UM's signature win is beating UF, its pretty clear that this UF team really isn't that strong this year. They already have 3 losses and probably will finish with 5 or 6 losses.

Highest ranked =/= toughest. It's always tough to predict rivalry games, especially when one of the teams could be in the title game.

Maryland and Florida probably won't be ranked at season's end.

Oregon will have played Stanford, UCLA (twice), Oregon State, and Arizona State, all of whom will probably be ranked. (Looking at the votes in the human polls).

Oregon beating Tennessee may end up being a better victory than Florida State beating Florida if Tennessee has a better record. It's gonna be reaaal close.

FSU did the best interpretation of Alabama I've seen yet.

They played the number 3 team in the country in their own back yard and it looked like men against little boys

FSU would man handle Oregon's front lines.and thats what wins.FSU and Alabama are clearly the the cream of the crop

Man, just relax and enjoy what's going on. That kid Jameis is really special. As talented as Cam Newton but without the entitlement. I heard his pre-game speech and I wanted to go play for him.
