He already has. One major trade (Elvis) and one big free agent signing (Beltre) (and also a good low-budget move for Rios) doesn't undo his bad deals (Lee, Dempster, Garza, and yes the overpayment for Darvish).

Come November 1 I expect JD to announce Wash's firing.
