May have been a blessing in disguise. Too many big games ahead to worry about a 3 pt loss against a top 10 team (at that time). Would rather lose to them by 3 than ole piss or piss state by anything. That is all

LSU's loss to Georgia was due to breakdowns in pass coverage.

LSU needs a win over Bama and rematch victory over Georgia to get into the BCS championship.

Losing early on the road to a good team is not killer because it teaches the team that they're not invincible and it allows momentum to build later in the season. They picked a good game to lose instead of losing late to Alabama or Texas A&M.

Because of the loss to Georgia, a win against Bama doesn't mean a thing - if we subsequently lose to A&M. Bama would still be SEC-West champs.

I would not be too upset if LSU beat Bama and won SEC championship but failed to get in to natty due to undefeated teams in major conferences making it. Would love to spoil Bama's hopes.
