Just saw him on the tube, and even though he's a tremendous commercial success I still see his voice, talent, and output all as very underrated. (I happen to think he has one of the three best singing voices of all time.)

Here goes:

5- Empty Garden
4- Sacrifice
3- Something About the Way You Look Tonight
2- Mona Lisas and Mad Hatters
1- Tiny Dancer

And I didn't list it, but "Father and Son" has the power to make me cry more than anything I've ever heard.

oops, Wrong board. I thought I was somewhere else.

1. Mona Lisas and Mad Hatters
2. Someone Saved my Life Tonight
3. Amoreena

I really just can't even list any after that. It's too hard. There's about 10 different songs I could put. Elton rules.

Really no order to these but:

Take Me to the Pilot
Burn Down the Mission
Levon
Tiny Dancer
Amoreena

He really went down hill after Yellow Brick Road IMO.

Had to look that one up. Didn't realize it was the sub-title to "The Last Song" from "The One" album. I saw him do that live in BR years ago--very touching moment.

My best? As many have said, hard to pick, but here goes--and I'm staying away from the obvious here, like "Your Song" and "Tiny Dancer" (although they are GREAT songs!).

The Train Don't Stop There Anymore
"newer" song by Elton, with Justin Timberlake in a cool cameo as the young Elton as the song reflects on his life/career

Come Down in Time
Old one from "Tumbleweed Connection". Sting does a great cover of it--this video is of them both live.

Honky Cat
Love the almost New Orleans style of piano on this one.

Madman Across the Water
His 2nd greatest epic song.

Funeral for a Friend/Love Lies Bleeding
His greatest epic.

How about Six because I can't eliminate any of these:

Someone Save my Life Tonight.
Madman Across the Water
Ticking (from Caribou)
Mona Lisa and Mad Hatters
Levon
Burn Down The Mission

I could spend days ...
