They are full of crap. Aint no trap game. I believe that LSU will be fully aware that once again this is Johnny REbs super bowl.I just don't see Tigers not being ready to play. No trap IMO.

Meh, Ole Miss is too good to be labeled a trap game. If we were playing State this weekend, then that would be a trap game.

I prefer the power pitch to the trap. Hill has had good success with this play.

Pretty sure a trap game can be before or AFTER a big game.

Thus, coming off of FL, this could be a trap game...if we were playing State.

So true and that is exactly what a trap game is supposed to be . A game between a

super tough opponent that you just played sandwiched between the next tougher team that you will play and as you say that would be Ole Miss falling between Gators and the Furman Palladins. If that is what Brando and someone else is saying then they really need to have their heads examined. Yeah a real trap Now as Rummy is saying if were playing MSU after Florida then I would agree that could be a trap.game.

In American football, a trap play, or trap run, is a run consisting of a defender on the line of scrimmage (either a defensive tackle or defensive end) getting trap blocked by an offensive lineman or back from the opposite (other side of the center) side of the ball. One of the defensive linemen will remained un-blocked on a trap and either a backside guard/tackle/h-back will pull down the line of scrimmage and kick him out so that the ball carrier can run inside of that trap block.

Typically, flow will start out one way (right or left) and the back will receive the ball going away from flow where the trap is taking place.

Can we officially retire "trap game" from the lexicon already?

Not a trap game, in fact I think the opposite the offense didn't produce like they probably wanted to against UF and the defense played better than there were given credit for against UF. It was more how bad the UF offense was rather than the defense is starting to gel and played a great game.

I look for the offense to come out and make a statement and the defense to continue to play better and better. The only thing the Ole Piss has got going for them is that they are playing at home, but the great thing about playing Ole Piss in their house is that it is not really a very hostile environment.

Have you seen what Les does when you suggest he disrespects his opponent?
