Les seemed to indicate a week ago that Tre'Davious White and Rashard Robinson were ones he had a sincere like for as starting cornerbacks, and Jalen Mills as the nickel.

But, Mills continued to play starting CB and RR was only on the field in the nickel, according to what I saw Saturday.

Probably won't matter this week as we'll be in nickel most of the game, but Mills did seem to have a little better game covering than RR.

Slowing my RR roll....

Robinson has only been on the team for 6 weeks and he's already seeing significant playing time. He'll be starting opposite TW16 come the end of the year.

No Les said that Mills and White were his starting corners but when the defense moved to a nickel package, Mills would slide inside with Robinson starting the opposite corner of White.

When in our base 4-3, Mills and White are the two corners. In nickel it is White and Robinson with Mills as the nickelback.

I think that has more to do with not being very scared of the Florida vertical passing game. I think we'll see Robinson back on the field a lot more against Ole Miss is much better passing attack

ok, i must have misunderstood him. this is exactly how it played out Saturday. Mills slid inside just about every time RR was on the field.

Secondary continues to improve. Tre White might be our best open field tackler. Big test coming Saturday.

It was the same thing they did against State. People just didn't realize it and didn't understand when he talked about it last week.

They ran 4-3 63% of the plays and dime 25%. The defense was in the nickel for only 3 out of 68 plays.
