Yeah. That powerful schedule of theirs shows off that they can really play defense against some monster powerhouse offenses.

Like I said its not nov 9th yet. LSU beats Bama rather handily imo.

Baylor

A big time sleeper in this year's national title race. It's not far-fetched to see an undefeated team in every major conference this year, plus Louisville. You still have Alabama in the SEC, Ohio St in the BIG, Clemson/FSU and Miami in the ACC, Oregon and UCLA in the Pac 12, and obviously Baylor in the Big 12.

Alabama currently has on it's resume a road win against a team currently ranked #7 in the AP and a neutral site win over a team currently ranked #19 in the AP. LSU's best wins are home wins against the #22 and #24 ranked teams

You could wind up with undefeated UCLA playing undefeated Oregon in the Pac 12 title game.

UCLA plays at Oregon this year.

Well the next guy did so I figured the conversation was going there Regardless, you sarcastically talked about the "gauntlet" of a schedule Alabama has, but off the top of my head I don't know of any other contender that has beaten two top 20 teams away from home this season.

I think they win as well, but to say handily is a bit far fetched.

Imo

The defense that showed up Saturday would shut down Bama, Plus LSU will score a ton of points and Bama won't be able to keep up. Kinda like the Bama /A & M game except one big difference. LSU'S D >>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>> A & m's.

Then nevermind They actually play them in two weeks, they go @Stanford and @Oregon the next two games. Guess we'll find out if they're for real. On the bright side for the 1-loss teams out there, that gives UCLA potentially two opportunities to knock off Oregon this year.

Today, the eyeball test tells me it should be:

Oregon
Bama
Clemson
FSU

With Oregon beating FSU by 17, Bama beating Clemson by a FG in OT then the Ducks beating Bama by 10.

End of the season I'd guess it would be:

Oregon
FSU
LSU
Ohio St.

With LSU beating FSU by a TD, OSU getting smoked by Oregon and the Ducks beating LSU by a TD.

The SEC streak ends this year IMO.

......and you can argue that they had their problems. They're talked about as if they're some team that will be impossible to beat and it's based off of them allowing shite for scoring defense. It's because they've played shite offensive teams.

The ONE time they played someone with an offense, they were ran up 600+ yards.

I'm sure you're going to throw out Ole Miss out there to validate their GREAT FANTASTIC defense playing juggernaut offenses.

UCLA better win on the road if they want a chance to beat them the second time imo. Championship game is played on the home field with the team with the best record.

why is everyone high on Florida State? Who have they beaten to justify the love?

nothing.

Alabama
Oregon
FSU/Clemson winner
LSU

Ohio State doesn't deserve it either based on who they've played.

If the playoff started today you can't say winner of Clemson/FSU.
