What do you think of this deal? I think pretty fair, although you never know how Harvin will be when he gets back, so may be one sided at days end

If I had charles, no way I would do that.

Really? I figured Morris is a top 10 RB and Harvin when he gets back is a top 15 WR. Charles is a top 3 RB this year

Edit: I'm trying to get Charles, and he is weak on WRs. I think combined they are going to have more points throughout the year, so I'd be upgrading RB, but he would be getting 2 for sure starters the rest of the year

Morris hasn't been great this year. And you're putting a lot of faith in Harvin returning from a serious injury.

I'm assuming you're trying to get Charles. ETA: Yup.

No way I would entertain that trade if I were Charles owner. Better bring something more to the table than "he might be awesome when he gets off the IR."

When do you expect Harvin to be a top 20-24 fantasy receiver?

I'm a Charles owner in 2 leagues. I'd laugh at that offer

So your plan is to give him a WR that will ride his bench for the next 4-6 weeks?

Fair enough; I guess it would more be an offer to entertain when Harvin proves he can play well this year. I didn't want to put Forte in there

Do you really think that's a solid offer?

You can spin it any way you want but it's not even close to a good deal for the guy who has Charles.

He may already be out of the playoff race by the time Harvin returns. Even then I don't expect Harvin to be his old self.

Essentially its Charles for Morris and that's a definite no-go. You need to offer a solid WR that's not hurt to get any consideration.

It's week 6 and Harvin is likely playing by week 8 or 9, possibly 7

I'm not so sure of this.

I wouldn't even think about giving Charles for Forte/Harvin.

Harvin is not worth anything other than a 'stash and hope'

Fair enough; I guess I could sweeten the deal. I wasn't really trying to screw him, but I like what i have starters at WR. If you guys think I'm screwing him, then I guess I am

I'm fine with my team as is, but always looking to upgrade

Man, I hope that's the plan, I'd be pumped if so.

Everything I've read has him coming back around 9 or 10. That's 3-4 weeks to be losing production going from charles to morris. Enough time to knock someone out of the playoffs

I got a trade offer yesterday my Romo, Hilton and CJ2K for his Charles and Kaepernick. Talk about selling high, although I do think Romo will keep it going all year.

They have no reason to rush their star receiver back into the lineup. Their only "tough" matchup until their week 12 bye is Atlanta.

Yahoo is saying as early as next week, but more likely 8-9.

About Forte/Harvin; I may jump at that if i was weak on WRs, but I guess the way you guys are putting it, it isn't as good as I thought. Maybe I was looking at names more than production thus far

Isn't jammal charles the #1 RB right now?

ETA: Just checked, by a large margin. 122 points with 2nd place McCoy at 107

ETA: Al Morris checks in at a measly 46pts...good for 27th ranked RB

My league isn't PPR, where Charles gains even more value. He has been great this year, but I figure Charles was going to come back down to earth a little bit
