Need help from the gun experts. XDM 3.8 compact .45

I didn't receive the gun yet. I placed order yesterday, and today I noticed the one on the site that says 9 rounds is sold out.

Now I'm worried that the one I purchased is the wrong gun.

It has the correct model number and photo, but I'm not sure why it says 13 rounds.

What's the difference between this and this?

One comes with 9 rnd mags and the other had the 13 rnds.

So you think yours will have a solid frame for 13 rnd mags? (meaning you couldn't use the 9 rnd mags)?


Edit- re read the OP. I'm pretty sure there's no 3.8" 45 with that one piece grip. They should all be like the one with the extension.

Yeah my guess is that the second picture is a 3.8" XDM slide on a full size XD frame.

As I read it, they're both the same gun w/ a minor difference in the magazines. One comes w/ a 9 round capacity mag + a 13 round mag, SKU XDM93845CS; the other comes w/ 2 13 round mags, but no 9 round mag SKU XDM93845CSHC. I couldn't find the latter SKU on the 'net, but found XDM93845CBHC which is a XD(M) Compact w/ 3.8" barrel and shortened grip and 2 13 round mags. I think the gun in your link w/ the two 13 round mags is still a "compact" model w/ the shorter grip. If you still have worries, you could always call the seller or send an email to confirm.

This is exactly what I hope it means. I already own two 9 round clips for this gun. If they send me 2 13 round clips with mag extension, that would be perfect.
I'll have 2 9 rounds, and 2 13 rounds.

If it would be the long hand grip, then my 9 round clips would have been useless.

Ill call them and update thread for those interested.

If you don't plan on carrying it, you will enjoy shooting it more with the 13 round magazine. It will hold more rounds and will give you more to grab onto.

But if you plan on carrying it, you would benefit from the flat baseplate on the 9 round magazine.

It all comes down to your intentions for the handgun.

Wow that's high for the all black. Those are $559 with no tax and free shipping on sportsman outdoor superstore.

I payed $638 for the Bitone which is a good price. This is the first time it was available in stock anywhere for like 6 months

The one in the second pic was a LEO only model if I remember right.
