Personally, I would rather see Robinson in there over Mills Saturday. I really hate when players blame/complain and bitch at their teammates. Encourage your teammate, and play through the challenges. I think that Robinson getting the start would humble Mills a bit, and hopefully motivate him to play to his ability.

I'd rather see a huge amount of nickel.

White and rob on the outside. Mills at nickel.

Thompson and Martin at safety.

Two lbers.

Four dl

Well, he played almost all the miss state game and was singled up in man coverage a lot of the game. He looked good and played good defense and tackled well.

I would assume he won the position for at least this week.

I can't believe how bad our safeties are.

Those who said that we would not miss Landon Collins and that missing on a safety would not cause us to lose a championship seem kind of silly right now.

We were never going to get Collins in the first place, but I just remember the argument was that safeties grew on trees for LSU. Obviously, they don't.

Collins hasn't started for Bama. He's now stepping in for Clinton-Dix, but you can't just say he would be better than these other guys simply because he was a 5-star. Sunseri was a 3-star and is playing over him. Loston was hurt for the game (whoever says Loston shouldn't play...diaf). Corey Thompson is a sophomore young guy, barely played last year and has played limited snaps this year until MSU game, and he responded decently. He's going to get better with time.

And on the "four DL"... have them rotating a good bit. Lacouture is hungry. Brings a lot of aggression out there. QT seemed to be getting into a rhythm this past Saturday, too.

Want to see Freak, Ego, Lacouture, QT at DT rotation.
The four at DE: Hunter, Rasco, Allen, Bower(?)

Kwon has to be on the field, period. The other 1-2 LBs on the field depending on situation is still being ironed out. Barrow has pluses and shortcomings. He got beat several times last game, and not just on pass coverage. He is not a great tackler in the gap.

I am all for seeing more of L.Louis, Beckwith, Phillips/Neal, and letting youth take over.

We have *GOT* to be a better tackling team before we face Ole Miss, A&M, and Bama. Florida will score points against any poor tackling team.

Biggest concern is finding the right Free Safety. Is Thompson rounding into that guy? We need someone with real range back there. Size, speed, instincts. Would like to know if things are about to click with Ricky Bobby Jefferson.

I saw real improvement in the second half of State game. Martin looked like a differnet player, like he gets it and Thompson is going to be good just needs to play.

so we beat UGA with Collins?

Thompson has actually played well and he's getting the snaps collins would have gotten. He had 3 PBUs vs MSU and was in decent coverage on the long TD catch.

I guess I need to rewatch the game.
I recall MSU's receivers being consistently open in the second half, but their QB was very inaccurate.
