I was in a room for of people screaming and going crazy last night, so it's not as easy to focus like it is for home games at the stadium.

I didn't hear his name much, which for a CB..is normally a good thing. I saw him man handle a WR on a pass play and on a run play in which the WR was blocking.

Thanks, guys

Like a stud. He showed why the coaches were drooling all over him. He's just a big, physical instinctive CB.

Him and White looked very good. Obviously there is going to be a bit of a learning curve being freshman but I was very satisfied when those two were on the field last night. Going to be the next two LSU greats at DB.

He was tossing receivers around on bump and run. He was on the hip of everyone he covered.

Only saw one receiver make a catch on Robinson, and that catch was contested, with his hand on the ball. Was a good catch. Can definitely live with that if a guy knows where he is supposed to be and contest the play.

That he did. As well as most of the other defensive starters. The whole team forgot how to wrap up.

impossible, he's too light, needs to redshirt, he'll get destroyed at that weight...

Waiting to hear he got beat on 4th and 18 in the fourth when Martin made the great breakup.

He played it right though, and broke to the flat when the rb went there. He passed his guy off to Martin, and the two of them played that one perfectly.

Robinson should have his own Board.

He actually played his assignment, then saw the play breakdown and broke off his assignment. That was cover 2 all the way, and he was assigned to the flats after the bump. He saw the pass out of the corner of his eye, and trailed him.

Safety got there a second late, but still deflected the pass.

I know! Haven't seen that often this year. It was a welcome sight.

Now that Robinson is catching up, I think the whole defense will start to improve. We have three solid cover guys in White, Mills, and Robinson. We can play a lot more man and bring numbers to pressure the QB and run blitz. If we can get Beckwith on the field we might have something. With our average dline this will never be a great defense, but they might be good the rest of the way.

I agree with this. In the first 3 quarters Chief kept putting Barrow/Kwon over the slot and Ms St. was just taking it all night. Mills started covering the slot late and it worked out well.
