Some of our opponents have really soft October schedules. Does that help or hurt them to get ready for the November games?

Not all teams have big games in November, but most rivalry games occur then and those games determine the final mix up.

I could see LSU lose to Ole Miss, beat Bama, and lose to ATM. Any combination of the three. But, I especially see us beating Bama this year with our offensive balance.

No flames, just thoughtful answers please....

i think it sort of depends on your perspective. On the one hand it does give them an easier path to Atlanta and they only have to get "up" for many 1 or 2 more games the rest of the way.

On the other hand I do think there is something to have been tested under fire many time. It speeds up the maturity process and gives your players confidence in themselves as well as fosters the team bond.

We lost to ga in a close game, and I think had one of a number of things happened a little differently, we win that game.

I think ONE of those things was ga already being battle tested. The fact that we have already lost, and will have played tougher competition will help us out against Bama IMHO

People (muyself included) were disappointed at the punt fumble at Georgia, but I was reminded of something my brother said once watching a Miami game.

He said, "when you have that kind of talent, you let them play." This was after Miami abused Florida and did some things that aren't coachable, or what the coaches would even coach....some of it is instinct....

ODB never really crossed the 25 on his kickoff returns, but its the intangibles....any minute he might....that I kept thinking....GO!

It depends on the team. It hurts an inexperienced team. If you have young pups, you don't want them to get accustomed to inferior opponents.

It helps teams with vets. If you have a veteran team, it gives them rest and gives the pups valuable reps.

What part of our team is that much of an advantage over BAMA that you "especially" see us beating them?? Just asking as to be honest I have watched all of 4 minutes of any of their games this year.

receiving the ball is coachable
concentration is coachable

you have twisted the meaning for your purpose.

there is a difference between CHANGING and COACHING
