So you can't use spells or troops, but the bases you're raiding still have garrisons and hero-base boosts? Then once your heroes die, they can't fight again until the next day? If someone's got their garrisons in and have their base setup to make you walk the loop, it's pretty much over. I don't leave my garrisons in because I want my base to be easily 100%'ed, even though figs often don't 100% it anyway. I find, however, that most people keep their garrisons up. I can't find any advantage in doing this other than to frick people over

I don't think you are able ot actually steal look from people, it just uses real people's base setups for the challenges.

Yes I know...that makes the garrisons that much more frustrating.

I've only ever gotten one PD, but I've certainly consumed a lot of duplicate heroes that would be helpful in this mode.

Btw guys, you need to spend your exp books once you get over 900 or so. Apparently 999 is the most you can have of one color, and I bumped into that and missed out on a few.

I hate it when they change shite and don't release formal patch notes with all changes.
Previous to yeaterday's patch I would start with 'G' and run it until I lost, then move down to 'F' for the rest of me HBM for that day. I was about 30% (win) / 70% (loss).
from the moment yesterday's patch hit, I've been 9-0 on G, not a single loss yet, and I typically am only losing my first tower now in the last five or 10 seconds as well. They changed something.

I added my 15 strongest heroes to the party. started round 1 and skip the bases till I find an advantageous one, or get to the fifth base, then it's just attacking however you want to attack that specific base. Be wary that when one hero dies, you are able to drop another. It's hard to plan a strategy because you never know what the base is going to look like. Could be a base with a protect setup, or a HBM setup. you never will know.

My people are loaded up. Not sure what I'm looking for as far as bases but I'll give it a go.
