They defeated 4A Franklin Parish 21-13 last night.

They've outscored opponents 198-52.

They were very talented last year with a ton of underclassmen. It'll be great to see them and West St. John in the dome. Last years game was awesome with Haynseville squeaking out the win.

That would be a great re-match. Haynesville has shown much improvement this season.

Yep, virtual mirror images of each other. Well coached and super fast. Both have played tough non-district schedules.

Not many, if any 1A Non Select schools will be able to keep it even close with them.

I don't think any can. OCS has been the lone Select 1A school to have success in recent years. Other than that it's always West St. John, White Castle, Haynesville, or South Plaq every year.

OCS lost to Union 0-42, Haynseville beat Union 37-14

How long until the LHSAA principals segregate them away from the other public schools?

Only 1A school this year that can beat Haynesville is Haynesville. I think it would take a ton of mistakes against a high quality opponent for them to lose this year.

The Snoopys??

I think not. They are average this year.

If anyone can beat them it's West St. John.

You need to explain that one.

West St. John has best chance, but if the Golden Tornado is clicking on all pistons, they'll leave the dome undefeated. This team is equals their teams from the 90s.

Sarcasm...LHSAA principals caused this mess because of certain private schools' dominance.

oh...silly me.

They have been mostly dominant in the northern part of the state over the years in both 1A and 2A.

Can't believe they are ranked 3rd in the 1A power ratings

It's a mathematical formula. They haven't really played anyone other than Union Parish. 0-4 Homer and 1-4 Green Oaks kill their rating. Since it's the longest continuous rivalry in the state though, no way Homer is coming off the schedule.

Franklin Parish (4A) and North Webster (3A) are no pushovers.

That's true and the same goes with North Webster.

As long as they aren't moved up to 2A, then the witch at Winnfield will leave them alone. She wants a trophy.

I'm going to laugh hard when Sterlington beats Winnfield this year.
