I am in New Orleans for a meeting at the Pere Marquette. Any casual lunch suggestions within walking distance?

The Store / sandwiches, salads, poboys, burgers, soups, etc .. very casual

Luke / not fine dining or anything, but more than simple lunch fare. can pretty much wear whatever you'd like in there at lunch time

Walk over to Domenica and get a pizza and some pasta. Hell yeah.

That would be the best thing by far close by and its a 1 minute walk.

Oh and suggestions: Prosciutto Pizza, Squid ink Pasta. You're welcome.

(Paging Oenephile suggesting the Stracci in 3,2,1..)

KPaul in the quarter is a decent walk from there (will take you about 10 minutes), but their lunch is well worth it.

I checked out Domineca's menu. Looks awesome! Thanks for the suggestions.

Truly one of my favorite spots in the city. Their happy hour is hard to beat. They cure a lot of their meats in house, and do a lot of things really well.

I tend to get the same things: a pizza and one or two pastas, but you can't really go wrong. I like the Gnocchi, Squid Ink Pasta, etc.

Everyone goes nuts for the whole-roasted cauliflower, but I've never had it as I'm not a fan of cauliflower.
