Tradition is more important than rules and fairness in the sec

No idea...though I have appreciated the times I've seen LSU marshals tell them they can't come into Tiger stadium with those fricking things.

That being said, so long as the SEC is not going to enforce this rule, I say some sponsor pass something like this out before the Florida or A&M game.

Some guy had one at the UAB game and it was really loud in the EU.

Agreed Harry. Those things are terrible. Let soccer have those wimpy sounding things.

Their security staff just ignore it and the SEC turns a blind eye due to the fact that:

a) It's a longstanding tradition that's both unique and has existed long before the rule outlawing noisemakers.

b) they have a small crappy stadium so it's not like 80,000 people are clanging them.

c) State is to irrelevant for the SEC to bother with enforcing it.

d) it's not like cowbells are going to cause State to beat Bama or LSU.

they are granted an exemption to the rule because it is a long-standing tradition there...and frankly, their crowds are not typically large enough for it to be a real advantage...

There is a law against alcohol in college stadiums too. LSU fans obey that rule pretty well. So yeahMSU should not bring in those cow bells and obey the rules.

Because SEC rules are only enforced if it somehow aids Bama.
