Has anyone ever mounted a go pro on any sort of stake to push into the mud in front of the blind? Did some testing during teal season and the head mount is really wobbly. Would be cool to mount on something more stable.

I have a tripod but don't want to ruin it in the marsh mud.

I would need something 3-4 feet tall to stick down in the ground and have some room to maneuver.

Get a hard hat and pull the liner out. This will sure up your head mount.

Any stale should work for sticking it in the mud.

This is cool, but I'd do two cameras. One facing forward and rear.

Get a round styro foam big enough to put a baby's cap on. Drive a long wood dowel in the styro and sitck other end in the mud.

Dude, just use the chest mount GoPro makes and flip the removable clip around.

GoPro video of my lab I lost last month

ETA: In the video i had the camera angle jacked up during most of the time, needed to angle it down toward her head.
