The crazy thing is that the Offense would look so much better if we had a great defense feeding them the ball!

If a few of those Juniors had stayed we would be rocking the world.

How about 3rd down efficiency?! He converted a lot of those. That's the important one.

I give a lot of credit to Cam. Loved the 3rd down play where he motioned Dickson out of the backfield(recognized man coverage) and hit Hill coming out the backfield on an angle route.

If we had a junior high defense, this would matter.

To give you an idea of how absurd Mett has been, he is 7th in total passing yards, whereas Johnny Football is 4th...Mett has 91 fewer yards, and 12 fewer attempts.

As for completions, Mett has 18 fewer completions than Manziel.

Ladies and gentlemen, we have a fricking QB!

ETA: Mett is now 3rd in NCAA in passing yds per completion with a 17.05 average!

This is why going early just to get drafted is sometimes a dumb decision. I get Mingo and Reid going. They were first round picks. But, if Montgomery, Minter, Simon, and Logan come back, everything is different on this defense. The team would be the best in the country and it would have an incredibly high profile. You'd have more first round picks next year, just based off of reputation.

Heck, we could still have had Michael Brockers and Mathieu.

With all the guys going early, it is like the defense was hit with NCAA sanctions.

We need to figure out how to get some guys to stay past their junior year when they are mid round picks.
