The only place Shaw goes from Stanford is the NFL, he's at his dream job and isn't planning on moving anytime soon. Besides Shaw being a Stanford alum and his family having deep ties there, Stanford is the better job by far, no reduction in schollys.

He's wasting his time here. If you can't win scoring 40+ on the road against a top ten team, why even try?

The market won't support that - Sexton floated $10 million a year in late 2011. Maybe that's up to $11 or so, now, with so many suitors, but I think Texas wins the Saban Lotto for the magic number of $10 million a year for 10 years - he'll be the first 9 figure contract coach in history and have a chance to win a national championship at 3 different schools - his money and his legacy are all that matters now - he cannot do any more at Bama because he will never eclipse Bryant.

I agree that he is going to get a hard look, but only after this year and if Vandy proves decently respectable again. I even think he is out ofVandy after this year, which is a little bit of a shame because he is doing some really good stuff their and I would love to see if he could make them a contender in the next few years. I suppose I am kinda a closet Vandy fan
