That is one odd movie. I laughed out loud 5-6 times, but I wouldn't watch it again. It's very repetitive as in it shows normal things that he does on a daily and weekly basis over and over and over again. Things like making his bed and going to confession. It got good reviews so maybe it's just me but I didn't care for it.

I had the impression that this was kinda central to the movie. Masturbation jokes are hilarious to me. It's my low brow guilty pleasure.
I thought that it looked like it had potential from the preview. I'm wondering if it really is mediocre or if this is another one of those polarizing flicks.
Not a JGL fanboy btw, but I was kinda looking forward to this one.

It's supposed to be a movie about unrealistic expectations. He's looking for a porn star type woman that doesn't exist. She's looking for her romcom hero that doesn't exist.

I was pleasantly surprised. As the OP mentioned, there was a couple legit funny points, some solid dialogue.
Wouldn't watch again, but didn't regret going.
