Let's talk about protein bars

Looking for something I can have with an apple or some other fruit for a quick breakfast in the morning. I've been buying the Pure Protein brand which have around 180-200 calories and 20g of protein each.
Are there better options out there? TIA.

They're all good imo. I stick to the all naturals that are sweetened with Stevia.

Definitely Quest. The chocolate chip cookie dough is my favorite. I haven't had a bad one but my other faves are apple pie, coconut cashew, and strawberry cheesecake. Heat one up for about 10 seconds in the microwave.

They released a new flavor yesterday. Some sort of double chocolate chunk or something, looks awesome.

i like the clif builder's. keep them in my desk drawer for when i'm busy, and miss a meal. the mint chocolate is really good.

Yeah that's about the norm. I pay $2.08 at drug emporium here in Lafayette. Sometimes gnc will have a buy 3 get 1 free deal.

It's hard to find decent protein bars that aren't mostly soy protein though. Look into making them at home. It's easy and cheap.

I don't think so. But if you really love a dark chocolate taste you would like.
Sometimes you can find them cheaper than $24.99 at drugstore.com or vitacost but $24.99 is the norm. Also if you order from Quest you can google free shipping codes and a code to get your own mix of bars for the 12 bar price. Quest will also send a sample bar.
