Apparantly LSU was never in the mix for him (LSU choice)... He posted on the Twitter he will choose between Miami, ASU, UF, Oregon & KU.

Funny how he was decked in LSU gear a lot at the Under Armour game last year but couldn't get eligible.

We didn't offer him for the 2014 class but he would choose LSU if we did. Dude wants to be here

summarizing here, welcome any corrections from any who follow recruiting more closely than I do:
- was offered by LSU as part of 2013 class, among other big schools
- committed to Bama
- didn't really decommit, just had to go JUCO
- then after no Bama schollie, desired LSU (not criticizing that!)
- was really sought after
- friends with Lewis Neal
did something happen at JUCO...
- still doesn't have grades/scores?
- poor development?
- was offered by LSU as part of 2013 class, among other big schools
- committed to Bama

I think the coaches believe Tony Upchurch is that DeAngelo Peterson WR/TE tweener type too.

Deangelo kind of sucked, so I hope not.

Deangelo please go play in the streets on a busy highway.
Stupid comment Deangelo didn't suck. Had multiple offensive coordinators and we didn't have good QB play.
He was one of those guys that I really feel sorry for just was caught up in a bad system at the time.
If you don't remember he made a great play against Bama on the short reverse on 4th down.
