In what month do season ticket holders get an email requesting if they want away game tickets for that upcoming year?
Thanks
Thanks

TAF dues are due 3/31 and if I remember correctly, it's usually shortly after that...May(ish)

In June.
The deadline for requests is usually late May (May 31st actually)
Points are frozen in late April, deadline for donations are late March.
pg 27 of booklet LINK
ETA: or pg. 5, didn't see that. And sorry, I misread it as "what month do you receive notice of away games". It has to between the deadline for applications (May 31st) and points frozen (April 30th)... so May it seems.

On a side note...
Just saw that they're predicting you need a ranking of 751 or above to get SECCG tickets (through the school/TAF) on pg. 8
holy shite! man, that's gotta be close to $20k in donations. Somewhere around 75 points.

I have gotten tickets to the last two championship games LSU has played in and I am nowhere near 751.

Had to eat one as I recall last time, always selling around stadium!

noted. that did seem crazy. I haven't been since '05.
I'd go with aftermarket anyway.

FWIW, it really does not seem financially smart to continue to buy season tickets. With the exception of the highest profile games at the best times, you can get good tickets to nearly any game for close to face or less.
At 30 per seat per game of TAF fees, season ticket holders that are unable to attend all games are simply getting the shaft. Even with going to all of them you are paying a minimum of $30 per seat for the privilege to sit in the same seat each time and not have to search for a ticket pre game.

No, it isn't financially smart.
Hell, now a days it's a real pain to go to the games period (I'm still water logged from the Auburn game).
But, I choose to still do both. It's a combination of fandom, choice to support my school because I do have the means here later in life, and the usual great marketing plans by almost all athletics.
I don't begrudge anyone who either chooses not to do it, or can't afford it. Just like I don't like people assuming just because I'm a season ticket holder I don't stay the whole game or something akin to that.
And if I don't use my tickets, they NEVER go to the opposition. I'd rather give them to an LSU fan rather than sell them to an Ole Miss or Gump.
