The Missus and I took a trip to Old Rail Brewing Company Sunday afternoon to eat, drink and watch the Saints.
The beer is excellent. We each had flights of beer. I really liked the Cow Catcher Milk Stout and the Echo Sierra Bravo ESB. I thought the stout was one of the best beers I have had in a while...it was creamy, chocolaty, well balanced. She liked the seasonal beer, an Oktoberfest.
Food was good: we had onion rings as an app. I got the French dip, she got the cheeseburger. The onion rings were tasty, with something like Cane's sauce on the side. The French dip was a knife and fork sandwich with some nice spicy mustard on it. The burger was tasty. Good fries.
It's a nice place. Very clean on the inside. The bathroom even had books, mouthwash and dental floss, so you know it's a classy joint.

I went the other night for the first time. I enjoyed all of the beer I tried. My waiter was a dumbass, but other than that it was an enjoyable experience. I will go back.

When we went we sat at the bar and the brewmaster even talked to us a little. Granted it was lunch and they weren't slammed at the time.

Bartenders seemed to know a lot about the beers, as I would assume they should.

I liked our bartender a lot. Friendly young guy, seemed to know a bit about beer.
