Agreed. It was 4th and 9 I believe, did he really expect to get 9 yards?

If it had worked you would be here crowing about what a brilliant call it was.

Came fairly close, so I'd say, "Yes."

couldn't comprehend why we did that. Completely unnecessary.

i wouldn't have. a fake fg on anything more than 4 yards to go doesn't make a lot of sense from a statistical standpoint. That plus you're passing up a chance to go up 31-7 and force them to get 3 TDs and 3 two point conversions just to tie you which is a lot less likely than just 3 Tds.

It was a terrible call any way you slice it.

Like the flip to the kicker against South Carolina?

Incredibly stupid is something you should understand.

4th and the full 10 actually, which makes it worse

How often are you going to convert that? We didn't even come THAT close, a full 2 yards short

What wold have the score been if the run works and LSU later scores a close in touchdown?

This. I didn't have a problem with it. No real harm could come of it other than the loss of 3 points.

Auburn drove 96 yards for a TD after that

On a 4th and 3 I would have liked the call. Put us up 4 possessions and end the game.

4th and 10, however, a run up the gut is risky no matter what the scenario is.

I want to say the snapper called an audible. It looked like that on the replay

I am die hard Miles supporter: That was a terrible call under the circumstances. As said earlier a field goal puts the game away; Instead they score, momentum changes, game on.

It was horrible. HORRIBLE. While watching it live I thought we had the first down and was like "Hell yeah, the Old Les is back! High five. Then I found out it was short and I wanted to kill that dumb MF. ...

Never.

Unless you include those with severe head trauma injuries.

Let's just say you got a wild hair up your arse to call a fake FG on 4th and 9 from the 13 up by 21 midway thru the third quarter.

You gonna run it through the middle b/w the tackles?

I truly think Miles was feeling a little left out with Cam making the calls and needed to assert himself.
