Look I love the big guy and he is the best ambassador for LSU. You can't argue that coaches generally don't like players turning around and going high five fans in the middle of a game. I sensed a little lack of focus. Was 21-0 there. I know people will hammer away because we all love Shaq but I think I would prefer that for non SEC games.

omg....so now we're blaming Shaq? For players losing focus? In a game we won by two touchdowns?

Sorry....give me a second...............

pretty sure he was in d ahouse against oregon state in 04 (also a rainy game)

if anything his presence probably juiced them up even more. of course that can go either way but i don't think it affected them in a bad way last night.

I can name a bunch of coaches that NO WAY would they have allowed the players nor themselves to get caught up in that during the middle of the game. Call it stupid if u want but the majority of coaches believe in a laser focus on the task at hand.

Ok name them. And by "get caught up in that", what you necessarily mean?

ETA: Don't you dare say Nick Saban either. Shaq came during his tenure here, and the players responded the same way to him.

if you're a genius you probably have some type of scientific method to investigate the question you're asking - followed by peer review.

My scientific method is that normally when players turn around and wave and high five fans in the crowd, the coach busts their arse. Also the scientific method shows that the coach can't expect the players to stay focused when he does the same thing. Look I love having Shaq back and all. We can't do that before the game instead of right in the middle of an SEC game?
