Headed to the field for a morning shoot, ever had a good shoot in the morning? Looking to have grilled dove for the LSU game.

Doves were flying this morning down here, heading out to the golf course now to squeeze a round in before the game

I've had some good morning hunts but don't like them. Too quick and doves coming in too low. Gets dangerous.

Rained the entire time and the birds weren't flying hardly at all. Only got 5 birds but didn't shoot too much

Tomorrow they better fly

Any one shooting dove this morning or today?

I will have a better set up today. going to spend a bit of time rigging up a makeshift blind and bring a 12 gauge instead of a 20

I had numerous birds flaring right out of range when they were coming straight at me.

What choke you shooting? Lead them a little more and pull the trigger.

What do you mean you don't have a choke? Even if its a barreled choke its still a choke.

We had a real good shoot yesterday. They flew in big groups like they do late in the year and were cutting up in the wind, so it made for some tricky shooting. I'm gonna go pop them again after I go get my broke foot x-rayed.

it should say on the barrel what it's choked to. My guess would be modified.
