Walk on's in LaFayette

Ate lunch there yesterday and lost count of how many times I had to run to the toilet....I ordered a grilled chicken cobb salad (it was deliecious) but...At 11 o'clock p.m. my butthole was like a supersoaker nozzle.....
Was my first time in LaFayette, also ate dinner at Copeland's (grilled Mahi Mahi) I was thinking the Mahi might of been "fish of the day" because that shite was about to go bad...
I'm 95% sure Walk-on's was the culprit...
Does either place a rep for this? Which on is more likely to give you mild food poisoning?

Of all the places you could have eaten at in Lafayette for a visit, you deserve what you get if you choose Walk-on's and Copelands.
In all seriousness, though, I do hope you've recovered. Not being able to keep food in the stomach sucks.

i've gotten food poisioning from walkons in BR twice. i like less than a mile away from the one here in Lafayette and will not eat there.
go for the beer and drinks, not the food. take this as a lesson learned and move on.

Yeah I'm not a fan of chains, but for the group I was with it was just easier....Let's hear some recommendations...I was helping my dad move down there, so I will be back...Is 'Ronald's' any good?

If you mean "Randol's", it's been little more than a tourist trap for years now.
Riverside Inn in Broussard is very good, in my opinion. For lunch, and economical, very tough to beat Antler's downtown.

I like Fat Pat's for a bar and grill type place. Enjoy the mile high burger.

oh yea. my go to is fat pats or legends. legends is much more on the bar side of things, but they have some of the best food in the city.
BBQ, check out deanos for pizza, la pagua for mexican, olde tymes for a quick poboy (cash or check only), johnsons for a good plate lunch.

Yeah...we thought about going to Bonefish for dinner but figured we were under dressed seeing as how we'd been moving all day....
