Exit Wounds is a fantastic track. I didn't know they had it in them still. Anyone know who the producer was for this album?

No, I don't have the liner notes with me.

But, its their best since maybe Sleeping With Ghosts.

Especially after the B3 Ep last year, I was a little concerned.
Placebo has to be the best unknown, underrated band out there.

Did I know this? One of my favorite bands as well. Been rocking out to this for a week or so. I really like the bonus track, which I didn't know existed until a few days ago.

It gets better with each listen. The title track is probably my favorite

This is only true of the US...they have just never caught on here. Placebo is HUGE in Europe/UK and big across the rest of the world!

Listen...if a band that I like puts out an overall shitty album, I'm not going to like that album just because it was created by a band that I have liked in the past.

Overall, the album just isn't that great.

I think over time you'll realize this. Some bands get better with time. Some bands plateau and disappear. Some bands actually succeed at putting out worse and worse material over time because people always hold out hope the next album with be the band's return to greatness.

People start to believe, "Well, if this album is alright, then that means it's a success."

Y'all start to settle for mediocrity.

Case in point: MGMT's new album is fricking TERRIBLE!!! But just because they're MGMT, everyone is fapping to it because they're still trendy.

10 years from now the new MGMT album will be reviewed as one of their worst.
