The ole toss sweep play

i am shocked that cam dialed that play up last night considering the rant seems to hate it so much. 
me, i love it and have since USC used to dominate college football with it. i think it's the perfect counter balance to our runs between the tackles and forces the defense to spread out. it will help our run game and indeed it did last night.

Funny thing is it worked everytime down in goal line situatiuons because it's so hard to defend and the RB gets to build up quick steam. Then Miles for some reason started abandoning it tryin to play or run more power I at the goal to I guess demoralize teams by running them over. Well, that failed miserably. But it was just another thing about the bizarre shite they would do offensively when him and Studwra were in control.

everyone hated the toss dive play, a retarded play invented by Miles. But, don't let that get in the way of your story.

last night was a practice game and we had practiced that play enough. i really think it was all cam's doing. i'm sure miles has discussed the play with cam but i don't think miles calls the plays. and it did work because we began to run more effectively up the middle.

how old are you? the toss sweep play was perfected by john mccay and the usc trojans back in the day. it was their key to more than one NC. this years team should be able to maximize it's effectiveness because we can throw the ball so well.

That's not a toss dive. A dive play goes between the guardand center a sweep goes around the outside

If you remember most of the beginning of last season and even the season before they would run it down at goal line situations and score easily because it's hard to defend. The D has to hurry up and try to get out or cut you off because the RB has a running start to go outside or cut back in. And they would easily barrel into the endzone and score. And then for some damn reason with the usual weirdness they would display on offensive playcallin they abandoned it to try to run straight up the gut over teams which failed bad.

i miss the old misdirection toss we used to run near the goal line towards the end of the jimbo years. i think kent actually ran it last night.

that play won't work without Hester at FB and Keiland at TB.
