Where's the TCU team we played last week?

I watched a lot of the TTU/TCU game and couldn't believe my eyes. TCU looked like a totally different team. Boykin ran the same "look downfield for 2 seconds then take off for no gain" almost every play and he was still the QB in the 4th quarter! Amazing. I imagine that takes some of the luster off of LSU's victory.

Who was gonna replace him, the guy that is out for the year?

1. TCU isn't very good. Solid defense, poor offense.
2. Never underestimate the home Thursday night underdog. I swear it seems they at LEAST cover the spread 75% of the time.

Totally different team and Im sorry Im not going to give the Red Raiders any credit. They sucked too. Just like someone said in another post about that #23 who played like a fricking beast against us but looked like a scared little deer tonight. Absolutely two different teams from what I saw as they played against us and how they played tonight. 6 fricking false starts . Is that absolutely ridiculous?

Tcu was on the road and had to battle refs, thats what happened

TCU looked different? 400+ yards of offense, 200 on the ground. I'm not sure if you watched a lot of the game..
TCU had 2 special teams TDs called back.. one of them due to a phantom fair catch. They were basically jobbed of a fighting chance at the end too.

That Southeastern game really started all this with TCU. Uninspired effort in that game that carried over to this week.

They looked just like the team we played except for their starting QB with a busted wing. Wtf did everyone watch?

My God please make it stop. They lost their starting QB and they got some bunk arse calls. Are the ones questioning this that stupid
How many freaking points did the high powered Tech O score?

Does it not matter that TCU had all offseason to prepare for LSU. They studied every single thing LSU was capable of doing for months. They have one week to prepare for each game after that. When they played LSU they gave it all they had. To beat LSU on a big stage, neutral site, would be huge for that program. TCU is not the team we thought they were, but also give them credit that they stepped up and played LSU better because they had more time to prepare. Also they have lost Pachall for the season.

What else could we do? We beat Tech in almost every statistical category but when you're playing against the refs it doesn't matter if you have Jim Brown on your team you're still going to lose.

I knew this would come up. Teams are up and down from week to week. TCU was pointing to us all summer and gave us their best shot. They may not play up to that level again this year.

Jim Brown would intimidate the refs into making the right calls though.

True. It pissed me off that Patterson just sat there and let them punk us.

Their backup has looked better. Sure did vs LSU.
They had plenty of chances tonight but just didn't have the firepower to do it when they needed to pour it on. Defense looked decent but their offense has really struggled this year.

The worse thing you can do is compare games because games change from week to week. Totally different circumstances from TCU playing in Dallas and playing at Texas Tech. Totally different motivation in playing LSU and playing Texas Tech.
