Lost my Lab this AM

Just left work, wife couldn't find our 5yr old Blk Lab before she left for work this AM. "PowPow" found her on the road and called me.
New house with a two acre yard from the road, she just didn't know anything about that highway. I've been letting her out of the pen when I leave for work and the wife would put both of our labs up when she left.
Lost a damn good dog and a my best friend from College, right before our favorite time of the year...duck season won't be the same.

I do not know this feel. and I will eventually because I am a first time dog owner. Sorry man

That sucks man. I lost my hunting companion of 8 years this summer so I feel you pain. He picked up thousands of birds for me and found several deer, including the biggest one I've ever shot.

Sorry, lost mine last year before the season started, too. Great, smart dog, just wasn't smart enough to stay off hwy 92.
