I think we missed on this one. I know he was interested but chose to stay home.

Watching him play Florida he is in on every play. True LB which might be something we need.

Well if Tahj Jones plays then Barrow moves inside I hope. That should give us a ball hawking playmaker in th emiddle.

Never heard of that guy. But in a perfect world, Devall would be playing Mike for LSU right now.

Did Melvin Jones just play poorly at MLB during camp that they moved him?

He couldn't be that much worse than Welter

The move wasn't a knock on melvin's play at MLB, rather it was a compliment of his ability to catch passes out of the backfield and be aggressive/unafraid on contact

The Chief knows what he is doing, he will play the guy that can do the job. Some of the younger studs may not be there just yet

I read somewhere that he was doing fine at LB but that the coaches couldnt resist using his size and athleticism at fullback. The article said that they couldnt wait for him to start getting reps at fullback because they think he could be THAT good of a fullback. I guess we'll see. Personally i wish he would play MLB

Oh yeah i read that article a while back and have no idea what website it derived from so dont ask for a link cuz ya boy aint got one lol. Trust me though it was a well written article.

He just had back to back solo tackles. Isn't afraid of contact and looks solid

He's a good MLB, but I've seen him run the ball last year and it took three guys to bring him down and he has good hands. Also can pass the ball. Played QB at wm. he will be a great fb in cams system.
