A better question is why the hell did that idiot waste 2 picks on top QBs?

Blows my mind when people draft a top 5 QB...then draft a backup.

He was catching shite the entire draft after he picked his 2nd QB, I bet he never does it again though..

Exactly. If I draft one of the top end, non mobile QBs (Brees, Brady, Manning), there is no way I'm drafting a backup. I'll pick up a filler of waivers for their bye week.

Yeah, I'd never do what he did in the draft, much less talk myself into starting the 2nd QB I drafted.

This was a great year to draft someone like Carson Palmer as a backup. With Ariens, Palmer's value could be high later in the season and bring serious trade value. If he flops, so what.

Easy answer....trade bait, depending on the spot you get that second QB. It's guaranteed a starting QB will go down. You can potentially strengthen your team when this happens. And God forbid it is your starter goes down.

Like I said, depending on the spot.

This league does give double points for QB's rushing for td's and RB's catching td's but still not a reason to start your #2 over Manning..

Had a guy in my 12 team league that drafted Cam in the first round and Luck in the second.

We only start one QB.

Had one guy in an auction draft spend $44 on Brady, $25 on RG3, and $10 on Eli. He's been sending out dog shite trade offers but no one is biting.

I'm assuming he drafted Manning then Ridley then Bush then i have no idea.
What is this a 14 team league? looks like a pretty shitty team.

I had no plans on drafting a Top 5 QB this year, but ended up snagging Brady in the 5th.

When I pick a QB like Brady, Manning, Brees, or Rodgers (which is rare), I do it so that I DONT HAVE THE HEADACHE of picking which QB to play each week. Don't make FF harder than it is.

If the stud goes down, pick up Cutler or Palmer or someone like that.

Trade bait only if he drafted Kap much later than normal. QBs NEVER hold high enough value to be used as trade bait since you can find serviceable ones on waivers

12 team league, and its a very shitty team. he picked a backup qb when he should've picked a #1 WR, TE, etc.. What's worse is, we've been in this league since 1995 it's not his first time around..

Yeah, that's what I meant by depending on the spot.

I'm sure I could get someone to offer me something that upgrades my team for Kaepernick. If not, let them roll with Josh Freeman and continue to rack up the L's.
