Just found out Mrs Tots will be coming. Is it easy to tell the difference between a snake/gator/frog? I don't want to send her in for the grab and then wind up with her pretty little hands getting bit

do you have an atv? where are you planning on going?
night before, get a spotlight that you can hook to an atv and go drive around your planned location. shine the light everywhere and look for the eyes to gauge a count.
if it's good, go out the next night. if not, go somewhere else
pretty simple. shine the light, snatch them real quick, throw them in the box

yes dude. Look for a white frog belly on the bank and pull up to it. The gators won't stick around so dont worry

you will be fine. it's hard to frick up. bring some binocs (high light lenses preferably) and check out from a distance while someone holds the light if you wanna be extra careful.

I guess I missed the cone lid part. Not sure, never tried. Even if it worked, you'd have to have a pickup truck full of buckets to make it worth the time I'd think. All that hole digging would cut into the beer drinking significantly.
