Skirt steak in oven?

Just went to start the grill and got no fire (gas grill). I don't feel like figuring out the problem right not and wanted to know if there is a way to cook skirt steak in the oven. I have a convection oven that can get up to 550. Can I just g the oven hot as I can and put the skirt steaks in on a wire rack?

I'd cook it on the stove top in a super hot pan instead.

What r2r said. Do it in a hot, hot cast iron. Comes out great.
