putting together another RTJ trip and will hit Grand Natl this year. What other courses in the area should we try to play? Area being a 40 mile radius: Dadeville/Alex City, Columbus...

Have already played Capitol Hill courses.

thanks

It's private, but if you can get on Willow Point near Alex City, you should do it... about 45 minutes from Auburn on Lake Martin. Still Waters in Dadeville is decent and public. Moorse Mill and the University Club in Auburn are good courses as well, but they're private.

IMO, Willow Point is the best course in that area.

re Willow Point - do you know if they are pretty flexible with larger groups? We'd be 6-8 total. Thanks for the suggestions.

not sure, but i highly doubt it... granted, it's been several years since I've been there.

very good suggestion, but it's a little further than the radius in the OP... and they don't allow beer, IIRC. Really nice course that doesn't get a ton of play.

Farm Links is on the short list but not close enough to make it this time around. Playing Limestone Springs in 3 weeks though.
