Madden Ultimate Team Discussion / Trade Thread

Anyone else doing this? Super addicting now that I've gotten into it.
Trying to find the best way to get players and earn coins for packs. I hear doing the challenges solo is the best way, but I haven't gotten there yet with my team.
I've been buying packs after playing a few games, auctioning off the ones I don't want / need and building. I have a run stuff chemistry team with JJ Watt as my captain. 35 run stuff rating 82 overall.
Night Train Lane 95 OVR CB
Gronk 92 OVR
Janikowski 90 OVR K
Luck 82 OVR
Ridley 81
Mike Williams 80 OVR
AJ Green rookie card 80 OVER
Kubiak is my Coach 85 OVR
Percy Harvin Rookie card returns kicks - 99OVR rating as a KR
Those are my best players so far. my def / off line is all 80 OVR or better with Run Stuff and Ground and pound on offense. Only 1 off lineman is below 80.

Best way I have found to earn coins early on is to play preseason challenges and the first few reg season games of each team's schedule. The games go fast and the coins flow pretty easily. Buy pro packs with 7500 coins, and auction off guys I don't want / need.
Let's hear your team and your strategy to earning coins
ETA: I may have paid $1 in real life money to get the 1 time gold upgrade.

If anyone wants to work trades I'm sure it could be mutually benficial

I'm not sure why you would have a run stuffing team in a game that is largely over in 15 minutes tops IRL time. It is geared to score points and score points fast. Nobody is trying to run the ball unless they have a 2 posession lead. I myself chose the short pass, because I would rather get the short routes and continually pick up first downs, rather than go for the Homerun every play. I am currently 8-0, and need to play two more games before I go into the playoffs.
The quickest way to earn cards/coins is to do the CPU challenges. You get coins, and when you progress far enough, you get player cards as well. Because I have EA Season Ticket, I was able to pick up a large pack of cards for $0.79 cents. This same pack would cost a non season ticket holder 75K coins. I can also pay $1.19 every so often and get full replacement players because of Season Ticket. My offense is pretty stacked, and my defense is starting to get up there.

QB: RGIII, Matt Ryan
RB: Training Camp AP, Trent Richardson
WR: AJ Green, Calvin Johnson Jr, Roddy White (Team Captain)
I also got a Patrick Willis special edition card on defense to go with Pacman Jones, Asomugha, and DeAngelo Hall.
I don't have any real strategies other than just to kick arse, take names, and earn coins.

Good point. I figured that run stuff was the way to go before I knew the games were that short. Maybe I'll change to a pass rush D but that will take a long time and a lot of coins / money if I want the shortcut. Right now I'm just going to upgrade my CBs as much as possible. I havent had any problems on any difficulty but I have only played pro and all pro. I don't like to play online because truth be told, I am not that good.
I read online that if you use C Kelly's offensive playbook and run out of the spread, rushing is really effective on any difficulty.

I got a list of collections and every team's basic collection earns you a jumbo pack. You can find each player for just a few hundred coins each because they are bronze level. Should help my team out. Gonna have the NFL game up on my ipad and madden on the TV in my man cave tonight. My wife is gonna hate me.

got a little drunk last night and paid $10 for 7 pro packs.
Julio Jones, Jed Collins were the main red card guys I got that mattered. Not going to do that again. I also sold enough useless guys to afford Forte on the auction buyout.
Team is 83 overall now and I changed to ground and pound because I basically run almost every time.
Forte, Ridley and rookie Marshawn Lynch are my backs.
