Revisiting Modern Vampires of the City- Vampire Weekend

After listening through it again Unbelievers is by far the best track and imo more in line with what VW should be doing. Ya Hey is in the same boat.

Overall the I thought the album was better than Contra but I dont see them making another album as good as their debut. Every track on there is amazing.

Eh. Some of the songs on the first album sound a little raw to me, like they're obviously the first songs they recorded.

First listen I din't like the whole album but I've become a fan as of late.

Unbelievers is the type of song that Vampire Weekend has excelled at but Step is my favorite song on the new album.

Step deviates just enough from their 3 minute 30 second poppy sounding hits to seem new and fresh but not so far out there to make it seem like its a completely different band.

It took me a few listens but I really enjoy the album.
