I don't believe this one bit, he took John Chiles and Case McCoy at qb and they don't come close to Winston as a passer.

Most of the recruiting services said Texas talked to him a few times but it never went anywhere. No idea what REALLY happened and I'd bet not many do.

Looks like there was more than a little bit of truth to it. If his high school coach is legit, and there is no reason to think he isn't, this is pretty embarrassing for Mac Brown.
