The old adage that the most progress is made from week 1 to week 2 excites me...

This team showed signs of youth on defense but overall played pretty well. Getting Tahj back should help things a bit. The offense, at times looked unstoppable. UAB is a perfect team to start working out the kinks against. I feel it's going to be a thrill ride of a season and I can't freaking wait.

Totally agree, definitely need to work on protecting the football and kick off coverage. Other than those two we looked pretty good.

The o-line was outstanding Saturday. La'el was just a damn wall out there at times. Sometimes taking on the DE and blitz at the same time. And Hawkins was as advertised by the staff. My only complaint was MLB but that'd be beating a dead horse.

It's exciting to think this team should only get better. Here's to peaking by the time we get to the showdown in Athens!

I laughed when I heard on the radio that Jadaveon Clowney got pushed around and will continue to. Raise your hand if you think he's not in position to be the best DE this year. He may not be as dominant as last year, but will still be the best.

Same with us: the Tigers will figure out how to have a power run game, as well as get the Linebacker kinks out.

UAB beat the GOD of everything football...IN Tiger Stadium...on homecoming...at night.

Les will try to get the youngsters playing time when he can but the W is the bottom line.

I am hoping for an early blowout and a lot of teaching/coaching them.

But...I want LSU to curb stomp them.
