Probably has already been discussed, but the Troy QB went 30/32 vs UAB...

I'm sure the dude got in the zone, but it sounds like there is going to be an opportunity for Mett, Landry and ODB to really find some open spots on Saturday (not that they didn't vs TCU), but kind of excited to see what happens in the pass game this weekend.

Unless of course the playbook goes vanilla.

Hoping to see Desean Smith, Dural, and Dickson get some rhythm going with Mett in real time action.

Troy's offense is made for high completion rates, though. They like to throw short, quick passes that are almost like running plays.

It's a little different from what LSU did against TCU. But Mett should still eat them up, obviously.

When was the last time 2 LSU WRs had back to back 100 yard games?

Possible.

fwiw, he probably didn't attempt a pass farther than 10 yards the entire game.

Honestly, 30/32 takes lots of luck. Drew Brees could have been playing for Troy and not gotten that - Brees' passes would be on the money but receivers will drop sometimes.

That said, it's nice to see people excited about the LSU passing attack. Hasn't happened since Rohan Davey and Jamarcus Russell were taking snaps.

This is huge. We need to get the some experience, which leads to more confidence. Getting Dural, Boone, Wright, and Leslie more involved. With the TE's as well. Get at least all of those guys one reception over the next two games. I think Dural and Boone will have big games, but I can see the other guys making plays as well. Wright is a tough dude, he abuses players like Landry does.

I would like to see 2 LSU receivers go over 200 yards receiving in the same game for the first time ever, but I'd settle for one.

Troy QB aint chopped Liver. I actually talked to some LSU folks to see if they were recruiting him. He was looked over by most D1's because his school was a perennial doormat that got a new coach and an explosive new offense. If I sound like a Homer - yea he is from my HS alma mater!

Oh yeah, do the math on 91 TD passes in one season. What's that come out to per game...

It beat anything I ever saw. I think it was 15 or 16 games. He lost in finals of state championship by a last second FG... damn kickers!
