Both 6'6 guys, they got their hands up and altered throws and even batted down a couple of passes.

Smart play by both of those guys, and I was impressed with both, as I thought DE was the biggest question mark on the team coming into the season.

Faced a lot of one on one match ups because Freak and Ego were wreaking havoc inside demanding a lot of attention.

Great first week in the project to replace three NFL DEs

They played lights out but I did laugh a bit at Allen's late game pointless spin moves.

Didn't notice Allen's spins, but I did notice he was absolutely mauled on Pachall's deep INT by Mills.

If his jersey isn't ripped off he would have blasted Pachall from his blindside.

Much happier with our DEs on rewatch

Allen should've had at least 2 if not 3 sacks on the night. He was held repeatedly.

No doubt. I noticed Hunter got held too on several plays.

Those were some of the worst refs I've ever seen.

I thought Hunter played really well , we didn't seem to get a great pass rush overall . Mett seemed on target a lot , could have had 350 without some of the dropped balls .

Am I the only one that thought Loston could've had a pick 6 on the pass that Allen tipped on TCU's first drive.

Allen played with great pad level despite being 6'6". He was getting underneath that OT and just driving him back.,

The thing i liked most if he never stopped. That is so important for a DE. Just be relentless and eventually you are going to be rewarded.

the opposite of what Clowney was doing in his game.

We only blitzed a few times in the game, because we got a consistent pass rush from our front four. The whole DL played very well.
