My only gripe with the offense is the lack of a screen game.

I had my hopes up when all we heard all summer was Cam was going to rely heavily on a screen game. I thought the way TCU was hanging out in the middle of the field all night, we could've really burned them a few times. The 2 times we tried a screen it was that middle RB screen. That's all I got. We're going to wreck shite offensively this year. When Hill gets back look out.

It's a funny thing... they tried that same screen play in the spring game and the results looked exactly the same.

They will work on that. I'm sure cam has a strong want and the chest for screen pass victory.

Probably run it a lot more when Dickson gets in the game.

That was a solid Defensive team we played. They stayed disciplined football and read those screens we tried.

They weren't middle screens. The TCU dline just grabbed our RBs whenever we tried to run a screen.

I missed what went wrong on the failed screen to Magee when we were backed up against the goal line. On the one to Blue, one way or another, Blue got himself forced out of the play.

Defenses are not just gonna play into your hands in every situation. You just gotta give TCU credit for defending the screen pass well. We tried it twice, and they blew the play up both times.

I mean they tried it a few times and TCU sniffed it out everytime. It was pretty smart to not waste plays trying to force the issue.

Well, definitely the one that Bama threw to Yeldon at the end of our 2012 game made me feel like throwing up - that's for sure.

This, this and this.

I'm sure we'll see it again.

and the refs missed it everytime

refs were letting TCU defensive players get away with a lot

I want to see the backs worked into the passing game in any way, not just screens. Recall one pass in flats to Neighbors for 2 yards or so but can't recall others. Would love some iso's and wheel routes. Probably gonna get worked in now Les sees the passing game can be trusted.

I was waiting for the wheel route to Magee. It would have killed.

It depends on where the RBs were at that point. If they were behind the LOS, TCU would be wise and legal to initiate some contact to snuff out the screen. I'm unsure of where they were making contact though.
