I was there last night and the O-line really stood out to me. Other than being a bit weak at first blocking the run, they were absolutely outstanding. On passes, they were a brick wall. Then, when the running game got going, they were opening up huge holes. Landry and Beckham (yes he had two huge misses) looked fantastic. And Magee was a revelation. I've always thought he would bust out if he ever got the chance and boy did he grab some serious PT last night. The D-line at times asserted itself but at times I didn't notice them much, which is how I felt about the LBs. Secondary looked pretty solid.

Some things to work on: let's see if we can pass the ball around a bit more, esp to the RBs and TEs, Freak and Ego need to assert themselves in the middle and the LBs need to assert themselves period. They were supposed to be the strength of this defense.

One fan's take from Jerryworld.

I ain't got no worries about our O-line. They are beast and will only improve and they gel.

I wasn't impressed with the run blocking...
But I am confident that it will improve.
Happy with pass protection.

The line certainly did give our QB more time then I've seen for at least the past 3 years.

TCU were stacking 8-9 in the box most of the night until Mett started gashing them for big plays. This subsequently opened up the big plays from the RB's.

O-line was not clearing any holes, straight ahead blocking, jamming the line.TCU`s d-line was smaller but quick.our guys should have the push to clear out.this has been an issue for some time now.
