How is Syria the responsibility of the US Government?

We are talking about endangering the lives of US citizens for what?

Another WMD hunt?

Natural gas pipeline that doesn't even come here?

It's not.

One of our defense contractors is running a sale on laser guided bombs.

Why else would Obama try to pick a fight with N.korea and now Syria.

That whole Osama hunt got his blood pumping. He wants to sit in the war room and watch shite get blown up just like "W" did.

He wants to not sit in the hot seat, like on Bin Laden night?

It is our moral duty to stop the senseless murder of civilians by the government just like we did in Darfur . . . oh, never mind.

Not one politician has given us a coherent reason to bomb Syria. Never mind the fact that bombing Syria will probably kill more than the 1,400 women and children that the chemical weapons killed. How fricked up is that? Let's bomb Syria and kill a bunch of people because their leader apparently used chemical weapons (which as yet to be proven) that killed a bunch of women and children.

But if you listen to people like John Bolton, we need to unilaterally bomb Syria to ensure that we are aligned in the international community as the top dog. Meanwhile, 100's if not thousands will be killed by our bombs.

These are madmen at the helm, fricking madmen.

Racist!

Killing innocent civilians with drones - good.

Killing innocent civilians with mustard gas - bad.

It's not. We should stay out of their civil war until which times it is no longer just a civil war and expands into international aggression which is exactly what will happen if the U.S. attacks.

It is the international community's responsibility to sanction/ deter/ punish human rights violations. The US Being part of, perhaps even the biggest player, in the community has a duty to act.

Chemical weapons, genocide, and other heinous acts are where the line is drawn. When the line is crossed, there must be a consequence.

For fricks sake, even France agrees.

Bill O'Reilly explained it perfectly.
Because we have a "moral obligation".
And really, once we accept this, anything is possible.
I am personally training my children to fulfill their moral obligation to the world.
And some day, hopefully, they will be ready to accept their obligation to bleed and die for people who want to rape and decapitate them and then eat their entrails over a cave fire.
You go America!

Why?

What are we doing about China/NK/Somalia/Saudi/etc human rights abuses?

Where is that in the Constitution?
