People here often ask "what new show should I watch?" They do a good job finding shows not often mentioned here. Listing Scandal and Shark Tank makes me skeptical, but I do approve of Veep.

1. The Americans (FX)
2. Banshee (Cinemax)
3. Borgen (LinkTV)
4. The Bridge (FX)
5. Broadchurch (BBC America)
6. Bunheads (ABCFAM) *submitted by ProjectP
7. Call the Midwife (PBS)
8. The Chris Gethard Show (Manhattan Neighborhood Newtwork)
9. Elementary (CBS)
10. The Fall (Netflix)
11. The Good Wife (CBS)
12. Hannibal (NBC)
13. Moone Boy (Hulu)
14. Nathan For You (Comedy Central)
15. Orange is the New Black (Netflix)
16. Orphan Black (BBC America)
17. Parenthood (NBC)
18. Person of Interest (CBS)
19. Please Like Me (Pivot)
20. Rectify (sundance)
21. Scandal (ABC)
22. Shark Tank (ABC)
23. Southland (TNT)

The only one in the top 10 I've watched is The Americans and I think that show is great.

Hannibal was really good.
Orange is the New Black was really good.
Vikings was good.
And I actually love inventions and people making things out of nothing, so Shark Tank is actually good. The investors are pretty annoying, but I like the new ideas.

They made the list for shows that you could binge on over a weekend. I don't mind Shark Tank as much as I think Scandal sucks, but there's no way I'm watching a whole season of Shark Tank in a day.

Orange is New Black kind of wore me out. That chick is whiny.

Top Of The Lake (Sundance)
What it’s about: A cop returns to her hometown in backwoods New Zealand and uncovers a history of violent misogyny while a makeshift battered-women’s shelter crops up in a prairie owned by a violent town patriarch.
Why you should watch it: In a wasteland of quirky murder-mysteries, Top Of The Lake roars with furious purpose. This isn’t just about a missing girl and a property dispute; this is about rape culture and entrenched power structures and shame. The way the miniseries devours pulp tropes and spits out symbolism, it’s nothing less than a gender war. Jane Campion and co-director Garth Davis mine the idea of women and children trying to escape the town’s traditional order for some of the most evocative images of the year, including a hippie community frolicking in the grass and a stomach-dropping chase up a mountain. A steely Elisabeth Moss leads a hall-of-fame cast including Peter Mullan, Holly Hunter, and David Wenham.
Who it’s for: People who think Antichrist is soft; anyone who regularly uses the term “patriarchy”; people who miss the accents from Flight Of The Conchords.
Availability: The miniseries is available for purchase on Amazon and iTunes, and it’s streaming on Netflix.

6. Bunheads (ABCFAM)

Sorry, I'm judging a book by it's cover.
No way I will ever watch this show.

The fact that there are 26 shows on the list means it is terrible.

Doubtful there are really that many shows worth watching.

1. The Americans (FX)

FX has a fantastic track record so I know it deserves more attention, but the first two episodes were meh as frick.
