He's never accomplished anything as a HC...

I think USC loses 5-6 games this year...it makes me happy...

Good question, because he sucks as a coach, and from his behavior, as a human.

Boo, offset my arse.

USC is overrated every year

He is not a good coach

Anything with ties to USC automatically gets hyped

Since he was with USC during the Bush years, he gets hyped.

Did nothing in Oakland.

Tennessee fans hyped him after getting canned in Oakland. Had a mediocre 8-5 year at Tennessee.

Bolted for USC and has done nothing with them.

He is garbage. Sad thing is when he gets dumped by USC he will be picked up as a coordinator somewhere or as a coach for a smaller desperate school.

People don't anymore but they used to. When the Raiders fired him media people insisted Tenn., Syracuse, and Washington were going to have bidding war for him. He's basically Derek Dooley on steriods. Dad was great and worked under great coaches so he must be good.

this. at best, he is talked about as a solid (but dirty) recruiter. I actually don't think I've ever heard/read someone refer to him as a good coach...
