Does LSU have a lockdown CB this year?
Can Chavis' D work without one?

In 2 years, all of our starters and a few 2 deep will be 5 stars... Ponder that shite...

Just 2 future NFL corners so don't worry.

Much more of a symbiotic relationship than your question seems to imply.
IF Freak, Rasco, et al do their jobs and create a pass rush...then YES. We have "lockdown CBs".
If they cannot...then there are very few anywhere. MAYBE Pat Pete and Derrelle Revis could sustain coverage all night. But, not many others.
The real question, IMO, is does LSU have corners that can be trusted to play Press-Man coverage well enough to allow blitzing from outside (Eugene from the nickel spot)or from a safety with a running start from deep (see the famous Laron Landry video)? YES. LSU has those guys. And, by mid season...Tredavious White will be another.

Have I answered seriously a question to which I should simply say "shut up"?

th
exactly. its easy to be a good CB when there is a ton of pressure and no time for QB to make a decision. but doesnt matter who is covering if there QB has all day back there.

It's all about percentages. On the few plays a corner gets burnt does the QB get a chance to get the ball to that wr? If so does the QB make a good throw or does the receiver make a catch? Even if our corners are not "lockdown" I still think they are above average and put the percentages in our favor.
